Pomerol
1 bottle per lot
Regular height, label slighlty coming apart, good appearance.
100% merlot.
one of the best wines of all times in the famous chateau
RP 100, WS 100
I have always loved this wine. It’s a giant, yet also sophisticated and reserved. Still dark-ruby colored, with beautiful aromas of fruits and spices. Full-bodied, with opulent fruit and a depth of flavor that lasts for minutes on the palate. Loads of tobacco and fruit. Pétrus nonblind vertical. Best after 2010.
James Suckling, October 2004.
